YTWO 2018 Annual Review: Moving Forward on the Digital and Industrial Transformation Journey

2018 was the breakout year of digital and industrial technologies in the building and housing industries. Digital management, big data, artificial intelligence, prefabricated buildings, etc., have been the hot topics of the year. At the beginning of the new transforming year, let’s take a look back at some YTWO’s incredible highlights in 2018.

YTWO 2018 Annual Highlights

On January 9 – 11, YTWO had a successful exhibition at the NAHB International Builders’ Show 2018 (IBS 2018) in the USA. This is the first time YTWO showcased the cutting-edge YTWO cloud-based 5D BIM enterprise platform at a premier event of building industry.

In March, YTWO confirmed its commitment as a Catalyst Partner with the Housing Innovation Alliance to drive the innovation and transformation of the US housing value chain.

In April, The team of YTWO delivered an educational speech centered on Building Information Modeling’s (BIM) prominent and rising role in project management to key homebuilding stakeholders, thought leaders, and decision-making executives, in the 2018 Alliance Innovation Summit hosted by the Housing Innovation Alliance.

In May, YTWO hosted a Chinese delegation visit in Germany. A group of 22 Chinese industry leaders visited RIB Group’s headquarters and the iTWO 5D Lab in Stuttgart.

On June 21, YTWO guested at the GdW WohnZukunftsTag (Living Future) 2018 and had the opportunity to contribute in the “BIM Me Up” panel and presented an inspiring lecture titled “From Concept to Completion – Building the Future.”

On June 22, YTWO and Schneider Electric announced the successful conclusion of a Memorandum of Understanding to integrate Schneider Electric’s portfolio of electrical products on the YTWO platform.

On July 10, YTWO attended the China Real Estate Industry Chain Innovation Summit and introduced the cloud-based construction industry 4.0 digitalization platform and the adoption of the supply chain. After that, YTWO participated in the launch of China’s Real Estate Industry Chain Innovation Alliance to promote the innovation upgrade of the industrial chain and the capital docking.

In August, YTWO Asia-Pacific headquarters moved to a newly-decorated office.

In August, two of YTWO’s global clients – one being CG Gruppe, a leading German real-estate developer – have placed orders through YTWO’s expanding material catalog.

On September 18, Myhome Prefabricated successfully launched YTWO cloud-based 5D BIM enterprise platform, and it has now become an integral part of their business operations.

On October 8 – 10, YTWO successfully established its presence by participating in Europe’s largest international real estate and investment trade fair, Expo Real which was held in Munich.

On October 24, YTWO concluded a contract with the Belle Époque Group, which is the sixth customer YTWO has won globally and the second customer in Europe after CG Gruppe.

On November 7-8, YTWO successfully co-hosted iTWO World 2018 which centered around “Inheriting the Bauhaus Spirit.”

On November 28, YTWO participated in the BIM World MUNICH and gave a keynote speech on the application of cloud computing and AI to BIM.

On November 28, the first prefabricated factory in China that uses YTWO cloud-based 5D BIM enterprise platform – Myhome Prefabricated Jiangxia production base – officially put into operation.
