Today Saint-Gobain Germany and RIB Software SE announced the formation of a new joint venture SGTWO. For RIB, the 100% subsidiary YTWO will act as shareholder of the new company.

On November 7-8, 2018, over 800 guests from more than 30 countries and regions gathered in Guangzhou, China to participate in iTWO World 2018, the top technology event in the construction and real estate industries. This year, it hit a record high number of participants. iTWO World 2018, jointly organized by RIB and YTWO Formative, centered around “Inheriting the Bauhaus Spirit.” The adoption of the “Bauhaus spirit” is meant to lead the construction and real estate industries through their industry-wide transformation: the digitalization transformation.
In August 2018, Myhome Prefabricated, the leading Chinese prefabricated construction enterprise, successfully launched YTWO Formative’s cloud-based 5D BIM enterprise platform, and it has now become an integral part of their business operations. Through the completion of YTWO’s certification process and implementation of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documents, Myhome has sent out optimized business operation blueprints across all their departments. This has also enabled Myhome to setup 3D modeling and quantity survey (QS) rules geared for enterprise-wide operation sustainability.
